ASHLEY N. BROWN SICKLE CELL ANEMIA SCHOLARSHIP FUND EVENT
Ashley Nicole Brown, a beautiful African American young lady and victim of the sickle Cell disease, as was one of her brothers, suffered a fate of far too many of our young people.
We are asking for your help in establishing the Ashley Nicole Brown Gift of Love Scholarship for young people afflicted with sickle cell disease who refuse to give up on their dreams. In September 2015, additional information will be provided, we will kick off the fund and begin efforts to make sure that everyone in our communities across Kansas knows all there is to know about this debilitating disease that claims the lives of so many of our young people. We will work side by side with existing agencies in creating a statewide awareness campaign and in providing assistance and scholarship to those who choose to dream.
On the next pages you will find information about sponsorship levels and what you can do to help a family with children afflicted with sickle cell disease attend the event. On behalf of Ashley’s family and every family and every family dealing with sickle cell disease, we look forward to working with you over the years in assisting young African American people aspire to their dreams.
